*heavy breathing*

So, you may remember that I've been talking about applying to art schools (Hochschulen, comparable to universities) this WHOLE YEAR. Like, I started writing "An Orphan Kid" last winter (2013), just to improve my English so that I could get a certificate in B2 (which I got with the Grade B!). This year's spring I've been working on several paintings for my portfolio and in early June I participated in the application exam at the Hochschule in Hildesheim (Germany). 
This whole thing kept me away from continuing my fanfiction (An Orphan Kid), which isn't too bad I think because I mean... I have to get my priorities straight, right? Well.

So in the last few weeks I haven't just been sitting here, waiting for a response. Nope. I got a letter from my driving school, saying that I must do the theoretical driving test soon, because I had started my lessons last year's summer and the agreement would expire later this August. I stopped going to the lessons last winter because first, I didn't have enough money left to get a driving license AND an english certificate (getting a driving license in Germany costs around 2000€) and second, because I didn't want to do my practical driving test in Winter (when the streets are all icy and shit). 
Long story short: On Tuesday (05.08.) I'll have my theoretical driving test. I'm very nervous and I hope I'll manage to study enough this weekend.

Now let's talk about the thing most of you were waiting for anyway: MY FANFICTION. AN ORPHAN KID.

I'm out of the story. Continuing is difficult right now. But it's not too bad, since I've scripted most of the last two chapters (10.1 and 10.2). I guess I just need to read through it again and then it'll work out. If I REALLY get back into the story, it may take me like 2 days to write these chapters. Maybe 3. 
But right now I really need to get my driving license stuff done first. Then I need to find a flat because I have to move to the Hochschule. This isn't going to be easy. Another thing is that I'll be on "vacation" a.k.a. visiting a very, very super good friend for like a week, maybe for longer.

I have absolutely no idea when I'll be able to spare some time for writing. BUT I WON'T FORGET ABOUT IT.
AND I AM SO SO SO SO SO SO SOOOOO SORRY THAT I'M STILL KEEPING YOU WAITING OH MY GOD FORGIVE ME!

So, I'm quite busy. Like always. Hng. I'm sorry!

Anyway, since I've always wanted to do that (but I could never find the time for it, I wonder why PFFT), I actually made a web portfolio! YAAAAY!


First I used the DeviantArt Portfolio feature but I didn't like the limited possibilities that were provided there, so I set up a side blog on Tumblr! There you can see sketches and doodles I made before I actually went on going full pro with my "awesome" digital painting skills. YO.  lol.

So here we go with the next topic! Before I made that portfolio blog, I had set up a different side blog! I guess you already knew that I earn some pocket money with Voice Acting in German, right? Well, I happen to have one american friend who's also a good voice actress and she desperately wanted to start a voice-ask-blog. At first I didn't want to do it because of my German accent... but... well, it seems like there are people who like my accent. (Why??)

Who are we voicing? Since I have a sort of low voice, I'm voicing Hanji Zoe for the blog and my friend Emi voices Petra Ral. They're two female characters from Shingeki no Kyojin, if you didn't know.

Kay, my last topic is: The Fanfiction. Again. I am suuuuuper sorry. I know, I promised to release the last chapter of "An Orphan Kid" this April, but I simply couldn't make it. I beg your forgiveness... There is just so much stuff for me to do. And tbh I kinda lost interest in the story too, but I'll try to get my mind straight for it for the last time. I'm not sure if I can finish it in May, but I'll definitely try!


June is going to be my busiest month. Three application exams AND my 20th birthday. For these exams I'll need to travel across the country.

Also it may or may not be interesting for you to look at this doodled storyboard thingy I made back in February. It comprises the events of chapter one of An Orphan Kid.

When I was 14 years old, I picked my very first username and then used it EVERYWHERE. YouTube, DeviantArt, Facebook, Google, various forums and other websites. Literally, if you google this username you'll find everything I've ever done online.

The reason why I want to change my name is:

At that time I would have never thought that the Internet would become that important to me some day. OH I WISH I would have thought of something more complicated! GRR! My mindset was so simple back then. Ugh. For me it was just like "Yeah well I'm a girl and I'm a fan of Inuyasha, also my birthday's the 22nd of June so yeah."  FFFFFF.
I didn't realise how bad this name actually is. I mean, it sounds like I was some kind of bitch, surfing through various porn forums. That kind of bitch that would pop up in some advertisement, pretending to live in your area, waiting for a sexy chat. HNNNG. Whyever the fact that my name has the word "girl" in it, changes so much of the meaning.

WHATEVER. 

I thought of some names but I really can't decide. So it would be really nice to hear the opinion of some of you guys... 
Some facts about me that might help to understand the references I thought of:
My real name is: Lucie Keller
I am German and "Keller" is the German word for "basement". Yeah. It's quite funny. So I wouldn't mind at all to make a pun with my name, I like it. Also "Kunst" is German for "art". ... yeah.
Some friends want me to call myself "Lucky Lucie" so that I could call myself "Lulu" or "Lalu". There is a German lullaby starting with "la li lu" so that would be an option too.
